Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026

This policy describes the personal Pocket Stylist pilot operated by Pavel Fuks, including its private web preview and SMS/MMS experience when enabled.

Information you share

The pilot processes your phone number for messaging; your messages and generated replies; and photos, preferences, saved products, or measurements you choose to provide. It may retain photos and image descriptions shared through earlier versions of the web preview. It also records message identifiers, timestamps, delivery status, and opt-in, opt-out, and disclosure records to operate the service.

The current web preview interface is text-only and does not offer new photo uploads. The existing upload API remains available for compatibility; previously stored photos and photos submitted through that API remain covered by this policy. The preview uses a session cookie to keep your private conversation available. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or information unrelated to your styling question.

How information is used

Your conversation and relevant images are used to generate AI-assisted styling responses, search for products, compare supplied evidence, and maintain context between replies. Operational records help deliver messages, prevent duplicates or abuse, honor opt-outs, and troubleshoot the pilot. Pavel Fuks may review pilot conversations and delivery records to investigate problems.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Service providers

The pilot uses Google Cloud for hosting, OpenAI for generating replies and analyzing images submitted by MMS or through the existing API, and Daydream catalog search for product suggestions. Earlier preview versions also used OpenAI to analyze shared images. Sinch and mobile carriers handle text messages for the separate private SMS trial when enabled; Twilio and mobile carriers handle the US SMS/MMS pilot. Relevant message content and submitted images are processed by OpenAI, and styling search criteria are sent to Daydream catalog search to answer your request.

Provider-controlled records and copies are subject to those providers’ retention and processing practices. This policy does not promise that providers retain nothing, never use data for other purposes, or delete every copy when this application removes its copy.

Retention and deletion

In this application's storage, uploaded photos are scheduled for removal after 7 days. Conversation content, including retained image descriptions and preferences, is scheduled for removal after 30 days of conversation inactivity. Cleanup runs periodically, so these are cleanup thresholds rather than guarantees of deletion at an exact moment.

When messaging is enabled, send DELETE MY DATA to clear your conversation content in this application's storage, or contact pavel@daydream.ing. In the web preview, starting a new conversation clears the previous conversation, saved picks, preferences, and shared photos from the application. Limited opt-out, identity, delivery, or operational records may remain to prevent unwanted or duplicate messages and maintain the service.

Local deletion does not erase messages on your phone or copies held by providers, including Sinch message history. The application attempts to delete received MMS media from Twilio after processing, but those requests can fail. It cannot guarantee deletion of Sinch, Twilio, carrier, AI-provider, or other provider-controlled copies.

To bound shared usage, the application retains anonymous minute-level counts of accepted Twilio styling requests and outbound dispatch claims. These aggregate counters contain no phone numbers, message identifiers, hashes, or message content. They survive conversation deletion. The rolling window includes the last 24 hours and the intersecting oldest minute (up to one additional minute); expired buckets are removed at startup, during access, and by periodic cleanup. These are cleanup thresholds, not exact deletion deadlines.

Your choices

Provide only the details you want to use for styling. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS/MMS, and HELP for assistance. Stopping messages does not itself request deletion. You can ask about access or deletion by emailing pavel@daydream.ing.

Contact and updates

For privacy questions, contact Pavel Fuks at pavel@daydream.ing. This page will show an updated effective date if the pilot's data practices change.
